Once again, a Woody Allen film comes to DVD with nothing more than a widescreen picture and mono sound. The DVD of Bullets Over Broadway boasts a widescreen 1.85:1 image. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no extra features, but luckily the wit and charm in the screenplay transfer smoothly to the small screen. This disc will appeal to Woody-philes of every stripe.
