The Independent Film Channel production Baadasssss Cinema comes to DVD from New Video Group with a widescreen transfer. The audio is offered in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and closed-captions are available. Extra features include extended interviews with Pam Grier, Quentin Tarantino, and others. Though not as complete for hardcore genre enthusiasts, this DVD is still recommended as a good introduction to the Blaxploitation era for the uninitiated.
