Two adventurous animated tales for the whole family are featured in this twin-pack DVD set. Based on the best-selling children's book by Robert C. O'Brien, The Secret of NIMH concerns Mrs. Brisby (voice of Elizabeth Hartman), a warm-hearted mouse who finds her home and the health of her children is threatened; desperate for help, she seeks out a band of highly intelligent rats who escaped from a lab where they were the subject of research experiments. The direct-to-video sequel The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue finds her son Timmy (voice of Ralph Macchio) eager to prove that he can lead the animals of Thorn Valley; he gets his chance when it's learned more critters must be rescued from the clutches of NIMH's scientists.
