biography
A heavily mythologized baseball figure who needs little exposition, New York Yankees veteran Yogi Berra also chalked up a few film roles alongside his career on the field. He made an early cameo appearance at age 37 in the Cary Grant-Doris Day sex comedy That Touch of Mink (1962), and landed a similar assignment some 40 years later, in the Robert De Niro-headlined farce Analyze That (2002). In 2006, Berra participated -- alongside Frank Gifford, Gay Talese, and others -- in the documentary Toots, about the life and career of Manhattan bartender Toots Shor.
