biography
The namesake son of veteran screen director William Christy Cabanne, handsome William Cabanne played callow youths at Paramount in the early '40s. Although stardom eluded him, young Cabanne continued to play bit roles in films and on television through the mid-'50s. As far as can be determined, he was only directed by his father once, the 1947 Cisco Kid Western King of the Bandits, in which he played an orderly.
