biography
American actor Whitfield Connor started out working in radio during the late '30s as a cast member on the original Lone Ranger show. In 1945, Connor played in a Broadway production of Hamlet. This led to many more Broadway appearances and a few supporting roles in films. In 1965, he became the executive producer at the Elitch Theater in Denver. He ran the theater until he died in 1988.
