biography
American actor Warde Donovan appeared in Paramount films before WW II then dropped out to become a Naval officer. Following the war, he hosted "The Warde Donovan Show." Following his Broadway debut in the late '40s he went on to forge a successful Broadway career. He also worked on television as an actor and a talk-show host. During the 1970s, he appeared in several Disney comedies.
