biography
Vet Boswell was one of the internationally famous Boswell sisters who began their career singing at a New Orleans radio station. During their heyday, the sisters appeared in several films and played with such popular big bands as Benny Goodman and the Dorsey Brothers. In 1935 she and her sisters Connee and Martha embarked upon a European tour that culminated with a command performance before the Queen of England. Following that, the sisters broke up. In 1980, a musical, The Heebie Jeebies paid tribute to the talented trio.
