American actor Tommy Kelly had a very brief career during the late '30s through the mid '40s as a child actor. He is best remembered for playing the title role in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It is said that David O. Selznick handpicked Kelly for the role. Kelly died in 2016, at age 90.
