biography
During the 1950s, actor Timothy Farrell was a deputy marshal for Los Angeles County. He later began writing and appearing in television series and in 1954 made his film debut in A Star is Born. All of the former was done under his given name Timothy Sperl. Later he changed his name to Farrell and appeared in three of Ed Wood's low-budget monstrosities including the infamous Glen or Glenda? Using his birth name, he also appeared in religious movies from Crusader Films. In 1971, he became the L.A. County marshal.
