biography
Barbara Sass is one of Poland's most consistent female directors. After graduating from film school, Sass completed a professional apprenticeship in television working with Andrzej Wajda's 'X' unit -- one of the eight Film Groups introduced in 1956. She later worked with Kawalerowicz's 'KADR' unit where she has made all of her feature films.
