biography
Renee Ashershon made her stage bow at age 15 in John Gielgud's theatrical troupe. The most fondly remembered of her film appearances was the French-speaking princess Katherine in the climactic scenes of Olivier's Henry V (1945). Renee Ashershon was the widow of actor Robert Donat, whom she married in 1953.
