Preston Sharp on AllMovie

A furniture historian and designer whose own works were showcased in the Museum of Contemporary Art in the early '90s, Preston Sharp got his start in the entertainment industry by working as a set designer for various awards shows and television comedies. His later work as a production designer on The Simple Life, The Bachelor, and Temptation Island 2 proved that the man who had previously mastered everything from homes to table wear was well and capable of using his talents for the small screen, and in 2004 he joined the crew of builders and designers on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
