The son of famed filmmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, Gian-Carlo Coppola worked closely with his father on different behind-the-scenes jobs. He also worked as associate producer on two films, Rumble Fish and The Outsiders. He died in 1986 as the result of a boating accident.
