The blonde ingénue of Reptilicus and Journey to the Seventh Planet (both produced in Denmark in 1962) and the first Danish actress to appear nude on screen (in Blaendvaerk, 1955), stage-trained Mimi Heinrich later attempted a Hollywood career that only netted her a guest-starring assignment in the 1964-1965 television series The Rogues. Widowed by American author Kells Elvins, an associate of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Heinrich later married and divorced Universal executive Joseph Dubin. In 1995, she returned to performing in a Copenhagen production of The Sound of Music.
