British production designer Norman Reynolds has worked on a number of elaborate, big-budget Hollywood features including the Star Wars trilogy (1977-1983), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), and Mission Impossible (1996). He got his start working in the U.K. division of MGM Studios' art department. He went on to work with other British studios until 1976, when he became an art director. His first film in that capacity, The Incredible Sarah, netted him an Oscar nomination.
