biography
A former newspaper photographer from Indiana, Milton Moore began his screen career photographing the 1918 serial The Lion's Claws. Starring Marie Walcamp (who was almost killed by the title beast), the chapterplay was produced at Universal, and Moore stayed with that company through the mid-1920s, often working with director Dallas M. Fitzgerald. He remained with Fitzgerald when the director moved his operations to small-scale Tiffany, but retired prior to sound.
