biography
American actress Mary Nolan was born Mary Imogene Robertson. She started her career as a model and a "Ziegfeld Girl." In 1925, she made her screen debut in Germany, billing herself as Imogene Robertson. Soon after she returned to the States to star in a number of average-quality Hollywood films. Nolan retired from the screen in 1932.
