biography
American actress Marilyn Erskine portrayed co-leads in a few Hollywood features from the early 1950s, but her best-known role was that of Ida Cantor in The Eddie Cantor Story (1953). Erskine started her performing career on a radio show in Buffalo, New York when she was only three. As an adolescent she appeared in Broadway musicals and plays.
