biography
A pretty brunette child actress of the 1910s, Mae Giraci (sometimes given as May Giraci) was reportedly discovered by director Cecil B. DeMille. Onscreen from 1916, Giraci often played the heroine as a child and essayed characters younger than her true age. Her career waned in the late '20s and she retired at the advent of sound to attend nursing school.
