Leading lady Louise Sorel is the daughter of actress Jeanne Sorel and producer Albert J. Cohen. On stage from the early 1960s, Sorel made her first film appearance in 1965's The Party's Over. In the early stages of her credits, she was usually cast as either a mystery woman or foul-play victim; later on, she was pigeonholed as a castrating "boss lady." Her series-TV credits include The Survivors (1970), The Don Rickles Show (1972, as Rickles' wife), The Curse of Dracula (1979) and Ladies Man (1980). Sorel also had a recurring role as Augusta Lockridge, the wife of scion-of-wealth Lionel Lockridge (Nicholas Coster) on the late NBC daytime drama Santa Barbara.
