biography
According to her official biography, blonde Loretta Sayers was a real-life debutante discovered by a talent scout from Columbia, who awarded her a term contract. She was Buck Jones' leading lady in Fighting Sheriff (1931) and The Deadline (1931), both superior B-Western fare, and in High Speed (1932), one of Jones' none-too-successful attempts at crossover stardom. That, alas, was about it for Loretta Sayers, who drifted out of films in the mid-'30s.
