biography
Known to fans of the Three Stooges and television's I Love Lucy show, plain-speaking Margie Liszt hailed from radio where she had briefly starred as Miss Duffy on the popular variety show Duffy's Tavern. When the program was turned into a musical by Paramount in 1945, the role was played by Broadway actress, Ann Thomas and Lizst instead began her association with the Stooges. She later also appeared on such diverse television programs as Rawhide and The Donna Reed Show.
