biography
Spanish-language actor Jorge Roman jump-started his career in his native Argentina, and thereafter turned up predominantly in Argentine films and international coproductions partially financed by Argentine interests. Projects included the 2002 psychological drama El Bonaerense (as a locksmith who begins life anew as a policeman following an arrest for robbery), a small role in Juan Solanas' 2005 psychological drama Northeast, and the low-key, gay-themed drama La Leon (2007) (as a homosexual harvester who feuds with a ferry captain).
