biography
British playwright, screenwriter, and television writer John Hopkins' credits include screenplays for over 100 feature films. Born in London and raised in Wimbledon, Hopkins was a graduate of Catherine's College and launched his writing career at the BBC. Some of his better-known screenplays include The Offence (1973).
