Supporting actor John Bennett Perry has performed in a variety of venues, including television, feature films, theater, and as a member of the Serendipity Singers. A native of Williamstown, MA, Perry studied psychology and music at St. Lawrence University. After appearing both on and off-Broadway, he entered feature films in Midway (1976). Perry's television credits include regular roles on such series as Falcon Crest and guest-starring roles on series such as Civil Wars, Murder She Wrote, and Silk Stalkings. He has also appeared on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. Some viewers may recognize Perry as the clean-shaven, nice smelling sailor from Old Spice cologne television commercials of the 1970s and 1980s. Perry's son, Matthew Perry, best known for playing Chandler on the hit sitcom Friends, is a rising star of films and television.
