biography
Producer Jack Farren began his career as a radio announcer in his native New York City before switching to television in the early '50s. In the new medium, his first production efforts included Howdy Doody and Winky Dink. Years later, Farren became an executive producer for Barry & Enright Productions and then Goodson-Todman Production company. He produced television movies, including Mafia Princess (1986) and Fatal Judgment (1988) and one feature film, Fuzz (1972). Farren died at the age of 75 in Los Angeles following open-heart surgery.
