biography
Screenwriter Irving Ravetch penned screenplays for a number of films during the '50s, '60s, and '70s. He frequently worked with his wife and fellow screenwriter Harriet Frank Jr.. Together they wrote, and received Oscar nominations for, Hud (1963) and Norma Rae (1969). Ravetch also worked as a producer.
