biography
Brazilian-born actress Irasema Dilian was a popular star in Italy during the '40s. She was discovered by Vittorio De Sica who starred her in Maddalena Zero for Conduct (1940). She again teamed with De Sica for her sophomore film, Teresa Venerdi (1941). One of her best-known roles is that of a snooty prep school student in Ore 9 Lezion di Chimica (Schoolgirl Diary) (1942). Dilian's film career ended in 1955 with Pablo y Carolina.
