Director Hollingsworth Morse was influential during television's early years and started out in the new venue directing Hal Roach's Amos 'n' Andy series. Morse began in the entertainment industry as a casting director for Paramount. Just prior to and during WWII, he worked as an assistant director for George Stevens. During the '50s through the early '70s, Morse directed episodes of several series. Between 1964 and 1981, Morse also directed a few minor feature films.
