biography
Affectionately known as "Turpie" by the stars, hairstylist Helen Turpin beautified the hair of some of the biggest names in Hollywood for over 50 years. She got her start styling the hair of Ruby Keeler at Warner Bros. By the time she left, Turpin had become the studio's chief stylist. She next moved to 20th Century Fox where she spent the rest of her career.
