Biography by AllMovie

A former Ziegfeld girl from Kentucky, Helen Lee Worthing (born Worthington) came to the screen in 1920, but unlike such former colleagues as Marion Davies and Olive Thomas, her career proved a distinct disappointment. She played the would-be countess in a low-budget version of Lehar's The Count of Luxembourg (1926) with George Walsh as the count, but was mainly seen in supporting roles. Retiring prior to sound, Worthing later made headlines by marrying a prominent doctor only to have the union annulled soon after.
