In films from 1926, American screenwriter Harrison Jacobs worked almost exclusively on westerns. Jacobs briefly digressed from his specialty with Born to Be Bad, a 1934 melodrama produced by up-and-coming 20th Century Pictures. Then, it was back to westerns for the remainder of his career. From 1935 to 1948, Harrison Jacobs was one of the main contributors to the "Hopalong Cassidy" series.
