After spending many years as an assistant director on the films of other Italian directors, Francesco Longo made his solo directorial debut in An Added Emotion (1977). After that Longo only directed two more films: E Noi non Feremo Karakiri (And We Won't Commit Hari-Kiri) (1981) and La Balleta di Eva (1986).
