Author Ernest L. Pascal began his association with motion pictures in the 1920s when several of his novels -- The Black Swan, The Savage, Egypt -- were adapted for the screen. Pascal's first talkie effort was Interference (1928), for which he supplied additional dialogue. In films until 1946, he spent much of his time at 20th Century Fox. Ernest L. Pascal collaborated on the screenplays of such Fox "historicals" as Lloyds of London (1936), Wee Willie Winkie (1937), Kidnapped (1938), and The Blue Bird (1940).
