biography
British stage director Donovan Pedelty briefly dabbled in films in 1935. In fact, it was so brief that Pedelty ended up with only one film to his credit. That production was Flame in the Heather, an action melodrama set during the Jacobite rebellion. Donovan Pedelty directed the film and adapted the screenplay from Esson Maude's novel Fiery Cross.
