American producer Dick Randall founded the Spectacular Trading Company and through it produced and distributed B- and Z-grade international action, nudie, and horror films for the schlock market. Some of the films he personally produced include Mil gritos tiene la noche, Pieces (1980), and Crocodile (1979).
