biography
A handsome juvenile lead at Triangle and Metro in the 1910s, tall, dark-haired Darrel Foss usually played troubled young men and often opposite strong female stars, such as Alla Nazomova and Gloria Swanson. A replacement of sorts for Harold Lockwood, who died in the flu epidemic of 1918, Foss appeared in eight films opposite blond May Allison. He also starred in Billy Fortune comedies.
