biography
Connor began working in Britain's film industry as an assistant editor in the early '60s; he became an editor by the decade's end, working on such films as director Richard Attenborough's Oh! What a Lovely War and Young Winston. He began directing in 1975, specializing in fantasy/adventures such as At the Earth's Core and Warlords of Atlantis.
