biography
A member of the posse as early as Ken Maynard's Cheyenne (1929), New York cowboy Charles M. "Chuck" Baldra later joined the music group The Arizona Wranglers (aka The Range Riders), which also included fellow B-Western regulars Jack Kirk and Oscar Gahan. With his thin mustache and threatening airs, Baldra was usually cast as a henchman, rarely receiving onscreen billing and often working in very low-budget Gower Gulch oaters.
