Chris Richardson reminded the judges of a very successful recording artist when he auditioned for the 2007 season of American Idol in New York: Justin Timberlake. It wouldn't be the last time that the 22-year-old vocalist would be compared to the famous pop star, based on both his voice and his looks, but the Virginia native made an effort to assert his own identity, picking some very un-Justin songs such as "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin McGraw.
