biography
Best known for such hit songs as "Behind Closed Doors," and "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World," silver-haired country-western singer Charlie Rich appeared in two feature films. In Take This Job and Shove It (1981), a working-class fantasy based on a Johnny Paycheck song, Rich played an actual role. He made a cameo appearance in Weeds (1987).
