Billy Dawson had a short-lived film career during the early '40s when he was in the early stages of adolescence. He made his debut in A Dispatch from Reuters (1940). That same year he played 12-year-old Knute Rockne in Lloyd Bacon's stirring biopic Knute Rockne -- All American. Dawson's career ended in 1944. He grew up to become a major developer and prominent businessman in Compton, CA.
