biography
American actress Betty Garde, is best known for playing the original Aunt Eller in the Broadway production of Oklahoma! (1943). During the 1930s, she appeared often on Broadway and frequently acted in radio productions such as "Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch." Beginning in 1930, she appeared in a few films through the early 1960s and also worked on television.
