biography
Yet another country & western artist-turned-B-Western heavy, Art Fowler, nicknamed "dustbowl," played his mandolin in but one movie, a 1943 Three Mesqueteers oater entitled Black Market Rustler. Usually, Fowler would play a so-called "dog heavy," an uncouth henchman not shy of actually kicking a dog.
