A veteran of 25 years of touring in such plays as The Royal Box and Richard Carvel, gray-haired character actor Andrew Robson usually played men of distinction and often in the films of Beatriz Michelena, a grand opera singer turned movie idol by the San Francisco-based California Motion Picture Corp. Robson's death in 1921 was attributed to heart problems.
