Born in Hungary and a resident of the U.S. beginning in 1947, cinematographer Andrew Laszlo was best known for his versatility. He was especially adept at filming actioners. Before becoming a lighting director, Laszlo was a cameraman on such television shows as The Phil Silvers Show and Naked City. He died in October 2011 at the age of 85.
