A native of Langley, British Columbia, actress Amanda Crew began her entertainment career in Canadian productions, with assignments such as an ongoing role on the YTV network's series 15/Love and CTV's Whistler. Following work on a succession of Vancouver-based television series, Crew signed for series guest spots on Smallville and a multi-episode turn on Life As We Know It, then moved into features.
