William Alwyn

British composer William Alwyn studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Beginning in 1936 with documentary films, Alwyn switched to scoring feature films in 1945. During his long career, he wrote over 100 film scores. In addition to movie scores, Alwyn has also composed many symphonic works.
